Meet Your Instructor, Naomi G. Davis
A graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Naomi G. Davis is an accomplished TV writer who has worked on several popular television shows across different genres. Naomi career in scripted television began as a Writer's PA on Netflix's THE GET DOWN and the Writer’s Assistant on Starz’s P-VALLEY and the first Emmy award-winning seasons of THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL.
Naomi received her first credit on Netflix’s rom-com DASH & LILY and quickly followed that up with NBC’s THE ENDGAME where she wrote episode 106 - “Judge, Jury and Executioner.” Naomi next wrote 2 episodes of the Netflix animated action-adventure SPLINTER CELL (2025). From drama to comedy, Naomi has honed her skills in crafting compelling stories and dynamic characters that keep audiences coming back for more. With years of experience in the industry, she is excited to share her knowledge and expertise with beginners looking to break into the world of TV writing.
In just 4 lessons, Naomi will cover the fundamentals of TV writing, including developing engaging concepts, creating memorable characters, and structuring a compelling story arc. Students will learn the essentials of crafting a strong original TV pilot. By the end of the course, students will have the tools and knowledge they need to start their journey as a TV writer.
